r5196 r5662 2 2 3 3 4 To do: 5 - explain FPC issues 6 - good old times of GTA01Bv2: 7 http://people.openmoko.org/werner/retro/gta01-bt.jpg 4 In all GTA01 devices since GTA01Bv3 and all GTA02 devices, the Bluetooth 5 module resided on an FPC mounted on the main shield. This complicates 6 assembly and introduces production risk. Furthermore, the Bluetooth FPCs 7 had at least at some point in time a low yield, further complicating 8 production. 9 10 With the removal of the second acceleration sensor and the ability to 11 relocate (remove ?) the backup battery, we now have room for placing the 12 Bluetooth circuit on the main PCB, like it was done in GTA01Bv2. 13 14 http://people.openmoko.org/werner/retro/gta01-bt.jpg 15 16 17 Author: Werner Almesberger <werner@openmoko.org>
