This is implemented by the new bluetoothd-service-input which will act as HID
host and allows configured Bluetooth keyboards and mouse to reconnect. It also
provides a D-Bus interface for creating new HID bindings.
Previously this was provided by the hidd program. This program is now deprecated
and should no longer be used. To configure the new input service the configure
options --disable-hidd and --enable-input are needed. The service will be
started automatically by hcid depending on the settings in
/etc/bluetooth/input.service.
