the patch is now in OpenEmbedded? and scheduled for upstream submission.
In general, please always submit patches to the respective upstream authors,
forks usually are of little help, since they fragment communities and lead to
duplicated work.

"upstream" means the original author. We should contribute this patch to get it
into the main ipkg line.
