Description
I tried to compile a OpenMoko? image on my ia32 Ubuntu system. I followed the
instructions here:
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Getting_OpenMoko_working_on_host_with_Xephyr
The configure step for kdrive fails with:
| checking for /usr/share/sgml/X11/defs.ent... configure: error: cannot check
for file existence when cross compiling
| FATAL: oe_runconf failed
NOTE: Task failed:
/home/mkluge/openmoko/build/tmp/work/i486-angstrom-linux/xserver-kdrive-1_1.3.0.0-r25/temp/log.do_configure.15690
NOTE: package xserver-kdrive-1_1.3.0.0-r25: task do_configure: failed
ERROR: TaskFailed? event exception, aborting
The defs.ent file is part of the xorg-sgml-doctools package, but it does not
help if this package is installed on the host system.

I have the same problem too, I'm using ubuntu 7.10
