rootfs : 20080708-asu.stable-rootfs.jffs2
summary : 12 hour time format does not work
step :
- go exposure
- select Date/time
- select format tab then change time format to 12 hour
current result :illume bar time format does not changed to 12 hour
expected result : it should be changed to 12 hour with PM(AM)

this modifies qtopia - it tells nothing to e and does nothing - there is no way to know what the format is. there is also very little room for an AM/PM in the clock without making it bigger. so it never was meant to work as such... :) this is the first i hear of this - a bit late... as there is no infrastructure for this. this would need:
- change clock module to have apm/pm config (right now clock format display is entirely done in theme, not code).
- add some form of remote config changes (dbus)
- modify qtopia to use that dbus or move config from qtopia to exposure and have it use dbus.
this is not going to happen for 2008.09 :(

oh.. umm.. that doesn't mean i CAN do something. it means there are a whole lot of dependencies to this being able to be done... and.. 5:30pm on my last friday at om... unlikely anything will be done :( the best i can do is resolve as a wontfix. i just went through 2 other bugs today and pushed fixes/changes for 2008.09

We decided to disable the time format in Qtopia for now. This should hit testing either on Monday or on Tuesday.
