Description
Devices will spend a lot of time on slow, unreliable, and (probably) expensive networks, so using a local DNS cache seems to make sense. dnsmasque seems like a good idea, and should be able to be added with just a few configuration file changes.

once networking is reliable... we can worry about this - but it's definitely not on my todo list... reassign to openmoko-devel in general...
