[gpe] To-do list gives an seg fault each time I quit

To-do list display a pop-up each time I close it :
Application Execution error.
The log file says it s a segmentation errors.

I use ASU/2008.8 with the Zecke opkg file for update

To close To-do, I use the "remove" from the top bar, since there is no close button.

Logs : Error Signal Information:

gpe-todo was interrupted by a Segmentation Fault.

Output Data:

There was no output

Error Logs:

There was no error message

We need to gather some information before asking the gpe guys to take a look. Could you get a backtrace or at least a core for us and attach it to the bugreport (core file might contain parts, all of your task data...)

backtrace:

login on ssh:
opkg install gdb
opkg install gpe-todo-dbg
export DISPLAY=:0
gdb gpe-todo

run

quit the application with the gui..
If it crashed type bt and attach the output to this bug

core file:

ulimit -c 9999999
export DISPLAY=:0
gpe-todo

quit the application with the gui.

a file called core.* should exist now.. if no personal information is contained feel free to attach it to the bug report.

Julian could you please add libgpewidget 0.117 to org.openmoko.asu.dev (don't forget the checksums.ini)? According to gpe developers libgpewidget 0.117 is supposed to have this issue fixed.

libgpewidget 0.117 is in my -dev repository and on the way to -testing (GPRS ain't that fast). Please give it a try.
