Description
Om 2008.12, after logging in and running ps ux, ps will print
Unknown HZ value! (89) Assume 100.
to stderror. It seems that this is caused by an old procps package as described here
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=460331
and here
http://www.astro.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/middelberg/help/aips.txt
It does not seem to have any impact on the actual ps output.

This bug seems to have something to do with uptime or even setting the right date even?
Because I'm not sure, and it has been fixed upstream (for what I can read it is a procps package problem), I think this bug can be marked as invalid so people who do see it can find it here and read that it is not a problem.
So feel free to close this bug or mark it as invalid.
Thanks for the reply!

bram: I'm not getting this message with Linux 2.6.28 nor with Linux 2.6.24 / (FSO stable). This does not seem to be a kernel problem this time.
