The gprs, rssi icons will be displayed on the top bar. Are you telling me to
display the top bar with dialer?

The intensity of the signal has not shown immediately.

This is rather a problem with openmoko-panel-gsm.
The long delay comes from the timeout function. Currently the panel apples does
not update the image directly when receiving a Singal strength event, but up to
4 seconds later.
The whole handling will probably change anyways once we have a GSM GObject
abstraction.

This was fixed in r1769 by Mickey and works apart from the GSM modem being laggy
with its reports. Closing
