Contacts can't delete the group added.

You can remove everyone from a group, and once no one exists in a group it will
not appear the next time contacts is run.

That's right.
But if users want to add a group and add contacts to the group later, they will
have to enter the group name again.
Also, user may want to delete a group even if there are several contacts in it.
It's just delete the group, the contacts are still there.
In my mind, group is just a logical concept and provide the usability to user
for example to send message or email at one time.
May be its not the most appropriate solution.
